Get Your Summer Read On (and Maybe Win Some Jays Tickets) this Saturday!
I hope you don’t mind, but I have a teeny tiny favour to ask. This Saturday, June 22, is Get Your Summer Read on Day at Toronto Public Library. Please visit your library branch that day (or whichever TPL branch is easiest to get to) and join the TD Summer Reading Club.
If you join the Club on that special day, you will be entered in a draw to win a pair of tickets to a Toronto Blue Jays home game in August. The seats are great, and the Jays will be playing one of their rival teams, the New York Yankees. Plus, it’s a Jr. Jay day, which means there will be tons of activities for you inside and outside Rogers Centre. You’ll also have the chance to go on the field and run around the bases after the game! If you want to learn more, talk to the friendly staff at your local library branch.

A Bit About the TD Summer Reading Club
Whether or not you’re the lucky winner of the Jays tickets, joining the TD Summer Reading Club is always an excellent idea. Read whatever you’d like – staff won’t tell you what to read, that’s totally up to you! Of course, if you’re stumped, we can always make suggestions based on what you’re into. Keep track of your reading in the log book we’ll give you, and collect stickers along the way. If you’re not around much over or really busy the summer, you can always participate online at tdsummerreadingclub.ca.
We hope to see you this Saturday! And all summer long
