On a clear starry night, have you ever looked at the moon and wondered how far the moon is from earth?
A TPL Kids visitor has and we've found the answer!
According to NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration), the moon is 384,400 km away.
To put that in perspective, an average person walks approximately 4 km a day. It would take you approximately 96,100 days (or over 263 years) to walk from here to the moon.
So dust off those sneakers, it's going to be a long walk.
