Get your summer read on! The TD Summer Reading Club is back for another year of great books and fun activities. Pick up a free reading kit at your local branch or sign up online starting June 13.
You can participate in the Club anywhere and anytime. The notebooks are packed with games and you can collect stickers for them at the library. You can also create an online notebook and get virtual badges. There's so much to do on the website, like colouring pages, jokes, videos and the Battle of the Books. At the end of the summer, one book will be crowned as the champion! Last year, kids across Canada voted for The Lunch Club: It Came from the Basement. Which book will win this year? You decide!
You can also take a StoryWalk® at 23 of our branches. Stroll around outside of a library building while reading a story from one page to the next. Tell a grown-up that they can find out more at tpl.ca/readingclub! There's also information about Beanstack, an app to track your reading and try fun challenges.
