Introduction to 3D Printing

This class/lecture is DROP-IN.
Learn how 3D printers work and how you can print at the Toronto Public Library?s Digital Innovation Hubs. This class includes hands-on instruction with PrusaSlicer, the software used to prepare your 3D object file for printing on an Prusa MK3S printer.
Note: Customers are no longer required to attend a mandatory 3D printing class prior to using a 3D printer at the Toronto Public Library?s Digital Innovation Hubs.
This class is for those who are interested in learning more about 3D printing and how to use the PrusaSlicer software and understanding how to get started with our 3D printing service.

Toronto Public Health: Food and Mood

Healthy eating is essential for overall health. Participants will be introduced to the relationship between food and mood. They will be able to identify common foods from Canada?s Food Guide that support positive mood, understand how mood can affect food choices and apply concepts of mindful eating to make family mealtimes with young children less stressful. For parents and caregivers with children Ages 0-6.

Join us at the Albion Digital Innovation Hub for a fun hour of painting! In this drop-in 3D painting workshop, you will learn more about our 3D printers here at the library as you enjoy a creative afternoon painting models. This is a Drop-in Program.
EarlyON Circle Time

A program for children aged 0 to 6 and their caregivers!
In partnership with the York West EarlyON Child and Family Centre, our program offers a range of activities including stories, songs, rhymes, and more, providing plenty of opportunities for children to learn and develop new skills in an enjoyable environment. Drop-in only. No registration required.
