Intro to 3D Printing for Kids

Class instruction includes:
* How to prepare a 3D design file for print
* How to use the equipment properly and safely

Movie Matinée - The Lion King

Come join us this summer for some family-friendly, fun and funny favourites!
The movie shown today will be Disney's The Lion King (1994).
A young lion prince is cast out of his pride by his cruel uncle, who claims he killed his father. While the uncle rules with an iron paw, the prince grows up beyond the Savannah, living by a philosophy: No worries for the rest of your days. But when his past comes to haunt him, the young prince must decide his fate: Will he remain an outcast or face his demons and become what he needs to be?

Baby and Toddler story time

10:00 AM to 10:30 AM

Bouncing and tickling rhymes, songs and stories for babies and toddlers from birth to 3 years with their parents and caregivers. Families are welcome to stay and play after the program until 11 am.

LAMP Early ON Child & Family Programs

10:30 AM to 1:30 PM

EarlyON Child and Family Centre?s offer free programs to parents/caregivers and their children from birth to six years of age.

These center?s welcome all families to participate in high quality programs that:

*help strengthen adult-child relationships,
*support parent education, and
*foster healthy child development.

Qualified professionals can help families and caregivers find support, get advice, make personal connections and access a network of resources.

*Please note, in the event of special library P.A. Day programs, the LAMP Early ON program may be cancelled or relocated to the park or John English. Please speak with library or LAMP Early ON staff to confirm*

Nature TO: Trees Around the Branch

1:30 PM to 3:00 PM

The Forest Hill Branch and its neighbourhood is home to a variety of trees. Join the City of Toronto Urban Forestry staff to explore the natural world on a local neighbourhood tour. Learn how to recognize different species and fun facts about their cultural and ecological importance.

Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver.
Registration is required. Register in-person, or call 416-393-7706.

The tour will start and end at the Forest Hill Branch and will be guided by the City of Toronto Urban Forestry staff. There may be uneven, unpaved surfaces along the route. Please dress and prepare accordingly for this outdoor program (e.g. hats, sunscreen, water, comfortable shoes). This program takes place rain or shine. In the event of severe inclement weather, registrants will be notified of an alternative date.

L'heure du conte avec Inas: Notre planète

Rejoignez Inas à l'heure du conte en français ! Cette animation célèbre la beauté de notre planète à travers des histoires, des chansons et des marionnettes -- le tout en français ! La séance se terminera par un bricolage amusant. Âge : 3 à 6.

​Join Inas for Storytime in French! This program celebrates the beauty of our planet through stories, songs, and puppets -- all in French! The session will end with a fun craft activity. For children ages 3-6.

This program requires registration. Registration begins June 20th.

However, Shrek decides to find the legitimate heir Artie in a distant kingdom with his friends Donkey and Puss in Boots to be able return to his beloved house in the swamp with the pregnant Fiona. Meanwhile, the envious and ambitious Prince Charming joins the villains of the fairytales plotting a coup d'état to become the new king.

This program is suitable for all ages; younger children must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver. Drop in at the auditorium.
