Introduction to 3D Printing

Class instruction includes:
- How to prepare a 3D design file for print
- How to use the equipment properly and safely
- A review of the rules and guidelines for using the 3D printer

Toronto Reference Library Summer Tours
2:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Get a free, guided tour from one of our staff and learn about the architecture, collections and history of the Toronto Reference Library.
No registration is required. Tours will meet by the stage on the first floor of the Toronto Reference Library.
The Reference Library is a historic piece of architecture, designed by Raymond Moriyama, who also designed the former Ontario Science Center. It is home to 4.5 million items, including books, manuscripts, DVDs, CDs, vinyl records and special collections materials.

Intro to 3D Printing

Learn how 3D printers work and how you can print at the Toronto Public Library?s Digital Innovation Hubs. This class includes hands-on instruction with Prusa Slicer, the software used to prepare your 3D object file for printing on a Prusa MK3S printer.
Class instruction includes:
* How to prepare a 3D design file for print
* How to use the equipment properly and safely
* A review of the rules and guidelines for using the 3D printer

Braeburn EarlyON Story and Craft Time

Parachute Play

Come have some parachute fun! Parents/caregivers must stay during the program. For kids ages 3-6.

VR Experience
2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Experience Virtual Reality with our Oculus Quest headset. Participants will get a choice of VR applications, from 360 video experiences to full games!
This is a drop in program for all patrons 13+ years old.

Dog Man Party!

Are you a fan of Dog Man? Join us at Eglinton Square for a day of Dog-man Themed activities at our Summer wrap-up party!!! Make your own dog man buttons, compete in Trivia and Bingo, explore the library in a scavenger hunt, and help Dog Man solve his latest case. Plus, for any Summer Reading Club prize winners, drop by to pick up your prizes!
