Intro to 3D Printing
6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Learn how 3D printers work and how you can print at the Toronto Public Librarys Digital Innovation Hubs. This class includes hands-on instruction with Prusa Slicer, the software used to prepare your 3D object file for printing on a Prusa MK3S printer.
Class instruction includes:
* How to prepare a 3D design file for print
* How to use the equipment properly and safely
* A review of the rules and guidelines for using the 3D printer

Baby Time will run in 6-week sessions with one week break between sessions.

Volunteer Toronto: How to Become a Volunteer for Newcomers
6:30 PM to 7:30 PM
In collaboration with Volunteer Toronto, discover how to safely get involved as a volunteer. Learn where to search for opportunities and how to find the best match for your needs and goals - including volunteering virtually from home, or in person with a group or organization.
You will also discover thousands of free online resources through the Toronto Public Library to help you learn more about the city, make community connections, and access other helpful support services. This session is great for newcomers and anyone who wants to make a positive impact on our city, or improve or learn new skills.
Please note: You will not receive volunteer hours for attending this session.
