Fingerplay: This Little Piggy

Related to: Hearing Words, Play

Fingerplays can help your child develop narrative skills. Narrative skills include the ability to describe things; to tell events in order; to tell and retell stories. Repeating fingerplays will help your child become familiar with it and make it more likely that they will join along.

This little piggy went to market.
This little piggy stayed home.
This little piggy had roast beef.
This little piggy had none.
And this little piggy ran wee, wee, wee,
All the way home.
